JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead and optimize our engagement and activation product initiatives within the benefits administration space. This role will focus on driving strategy and execution for key solutions that enhance advocacy, benefits navigation, claims data & analytics, and expense management. Reporting to the Product Strategy Leader, you will be responsible for aligning business goals with user needs to improve engagement, adoption, and utilization across our portfolio.

We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead and optimize our engagement and activation product initiatives within the benefits administration space. This role will focus on driving strategy and execution for key solutions that enhance advocacy, benefits navigation, claims data & analytics, and expense management. Reporting to the Product Strategy Leader, you will be responsible for aligning business goals with user needs to improve engagement, adoption, and utilization across our portfolio.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Portfolio Strategy & Roadmap Development
- Develop and manage a strategic roadmap for engagement and activation solutions within the benefits ecosystem.
- Align portfolio initiatives with company objectives, client needs, and industry trends.
- Partner with Product, Engineering and Operations teams as well as applicable vendor(s) to define priorities, investment decisions, and execution plans.
Engagement & Activation Optimization
- Enhance member engagement by refining digital experiences, communication strategies, and personalized recommendations.
- Drive activation strategies that increase adoption of benefits, claims data insights, and financial wellness tools.
- Identify key engagement metrics, develop dashboards, and track portfolio performance.
Advocacy & Benefits Navigation
- Optimize advocacy solutions to provide personalized, data-driven guidance for employees navigating healthcare benefits.
- Ensure seamless integration with claims data and analytics to offer proactive recommendations and insights.
Claims Data & Analytics
- Leverage claims data to create actionable insights that improve decision-making for both employees and employers.
- Work with Data Science teams to enhance AI/ML models for predictive analytics and cost-savings recommendations.
Expense Management & Financial Wellness
- Strengthen offerings that support expense tracking, reimbursement, and healthcare cost transparency.
- Collaborate with partners and vendors to enhance integrations for HSAs, FSAs, and out-of-pocket expense solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data-driven decision-making to drive product improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND/OR EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- 5-7+ years of experience in portfolio management, product strategy, or engagement-focused roles in benefits administration, healthtech, or fintech.
- Strong understanding of healthcare benefits, advocacy, and digital engagement strategies.
- Experience working with claims data, analytics, and expense management tools.
- Passion for improving employee benefits experiences and driving engagement through technology.
