Technical/Functional Skills
4-5 years of full software Testing lifecycle experience including the ability to perform independent analysis and RCS as needed.
5+ years of experience on various functional testing with good exposure of Retail domain.

POS Experience is REQUIRED and MUST
Experience with technologies, tools, software's, and packages including As400, Database, and Test Management tools like JIRA, HP ALM.
Experience with Relational Databases (SQL Server or Oracle), Atlassian tools including JIRA.
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Solid experience on Regression testing and ST.
Experience in UAT is a Plus.
Exposure with Stakeholder Management on a day to day basis.
Good experience in E2E integration testing.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills; ability to analyze complex technical problems
Excellent team player who can drive a collaborative environment
Adherence to all type of delivery timelines.
Ability to balance multiple priorities at a given time
Excellent verbal and written communications, ability to establish effective working relationships with team members and cross functional teams
Self-driven, able to work independently or within a team setting
Results oriented and adaptable
Experience using Zephyr for test case management and reporting on testing status.
Proven Quality Engineering automation experience using Eggplant and/or Selenium

Roles & Responsibilities
To carry out detailed analysis in understanding system requirements, JIRA stories and to be able to create test scripts and/or build solutions.
Test Design, develop, Test Execution, RCA and analysis towards industry specific solutions based on client's prioritization and to manage, enhance, support existing applications or Integration of system with any new/existing applications as applicable.
Monitors testing progress, provides status updates, and escalates issues to management, test lead and other project participants regarding testing efforts.
Write unit and integration tests.
Contribute towards on-going migration tasks in the areas of Maintainability, Performance, and High Availability.
Review and audit all existing test cases/plans and enhance wherever needed.
Work in close collaboration with engineering team and stakeholders to provide the best possible product.
Assist with maintenance efforts for current automation based upon upcoming projects/releases.
Reviews requirements using software quality principles, business systems knowledge and/or previous testing experience.
Responsible for the creation and maintenance of test plans, test data and test automation.
Drive testing through all phases of development life cycle to ensure delivery of high-quality products.
To work on other parallel projects as applicable.
Work closely with business partners, stake holders in identifying QA requirements also as part of continuous integration.
To modify, remediate existing Test suit (Automation & Manual) for retail POS applications and other Backoffice systems if needed.
Working with Senior Tech Analysts, SMEs for updates on Configuration management, environment readiness, test data management. Scripts modifications.
Follow up with customers and/or business partners to ensure problems are solved and customer satisfaction is met
