Job Title: Registered Nurse - Project Manager III
Job Specialty: Maternal Child Health (MCH) - Post Partum
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day - 8x5 - 07 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Experience: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience
License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided)
Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program, ACLS
Must-Have: Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring and IV skills

Job Description:

- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring.
- Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws.
- Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration (Magnesium/Oxytocin/Insulin).
- Demonstrated ability to perform Urine Point of Care testing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of IStat.
- Demonstrated ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring.
- Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks/venipuncture on newborn.
- Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including ability to perform IV administration and maintenance.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Bili-blankets/lights.
- Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers.
- Demonstrated knowledge to support gynecological teaching and post-operative bladder training.
- Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching.
- Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field, a minimum of three years of labor and delivery experience, three years of postpartum experience, and one year of medical/surgical nursing experience.
