As a Power Platform Architect, you will help large-scale organizations adopt Microsoft Power Platform at an enterprise level with a focus on the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Virtual Agents, and Dynamics 365. AIS delivers cross-cloud transformation solutions that help commercial and federal enterprises improve business results by migrating to the cloud, modernizing apps, and leveraging data.

What You'll Be Doing
- Collaborate with product managers and key stakeholders to gather requirements and design effective solutions using Microsoft Power Platform tools, such as Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of scalable and sustainable architecture for Power Platform solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
- Lead a team of Power Platform developers who are building custom Power Apps applications, Power Automate workflows, and Power BI reports to meet business needs, considering user experience and performance. (Client Engagement....echo back solution)
- Design and implement integrations between Power Platform and other enterprise systems and application databases to ensure data flows smoothly across the organization.
- Develop data models and dataflows in Power BI to support advanced analytics and reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
- Work with respective teams and key leadership to establish and enforce governance policies, security measures, and best practices for Power Platform solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational data governance and cybersecurity standards.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of Power Platform solutions, proactively address bottlenecks and ensure a seamless user experience.
- Collaborate with training and documentation team members to help build training and documentation for end-users and support teams on Power Platform solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, developers, data engineers, and data scientists, to deliver integrated solutions that meet business objectives.
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem and recommend new features and capabilities that can benefit the organization.
- Assist in change management activities, including migration planning, version upgrades, and ensuring minimal disruption during system changes.
- Evaluate and recommend third-party tools and solutions that complement the Power Platform and enhance its capabilities while staying in compliance with organizational security policies.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the team or other colleagues interested in learning about the Power Platform.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the Power Platform ecosystem to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Profile of Success
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other Scientific/Technical discipline.
- 6+ years of Microsoft Dynamics 365/Power Platform implementation experience or other related software implementation experience.
- 4+ years of experience with cloud and hybrid/on-premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.
- Power Apps, Power Automate, Canvas Apps, and Model-Driven Apps experience.
- Experience implementing end-to-end projects involving integrations, reporting, and/or Power Platform components.
- Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval, transformation, and analysis.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience working with data warehouses.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Understands User Interface design principles and how to work effectively with design teams.
- Understands and practices agile software development methodologies.
- Great communication skills to be able to communicate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to obtain US DoD Security Clearance.
Desirable Skills
- Active Secret Clearance or higher is desired. (Or offer contingent on Interim Secret...must be "clearable")
- Familiar with Azure cloud services and data pipelines
- Experience with BI tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, QlikView) is a plus.
- Microsoft certifications in Power Platform (e.g., PL-600 Power Platform Architect) are a plus.
