About the Role:

As a Pre Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our organization by providing technical expertise to our "In-Building" sales team. You will be responsible for understanding our products and services, and effectively communicating their value to potential clients. Your main objective will be to support the sales team in closing deals and achieving revenue targets. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide customized solutions that meet their requirements. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, and your contribution to the overall revenue growth of the company.

This role will work in the Pre-Sales organization as a technical lead focused on In-Building 4G/5G Solutions for both Private and/or Public Networks. The Sales Engineer will support sales executive(s) with solution selling into prospect account base and will partner with sales executive(s) to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical pre-sales or sales engineering role
  • Strong technical knowledge of software development and cloud computing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong aptitude for business strategy and excellent collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Decisive problem-solving ability and the ability to assess people and situations with accuracy
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be a self-starter with integrity and accountability, with a track record of consistent success.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Growth mindset to expand from traditional in building solutions to hybrid (public + private) network solutions
  • iBwave certification (Level 3 preferred)
  • In-building Design & Bill of Material Capabilities
  • Product knowledge: Ericsson Radio; Corning/Spider Cloud; CommScope DAS; Solid DAS; JMS DAS
  • Experience working in a Presales solution role for at scale in building solutions

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities
  • Provide technical expertise to clients during the sales process
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to clients
  • Create and deliver customized solutions that meet client requirements
  • Work closely with the product development team to provide feedback on product features and functionality
  • Manage all technical aspects of the RFP/RFI responses
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence
  • Partner with sales executives with solution selling into prospect account base
  • Creatively explain and present concepts in an easy-to-understand manner to deliver a clear and compelling value proposition to customers/partners

Skills:

In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to provide customized solutions to clients. You will need to have strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. You will work closely with the sales team to identify and qualify new business opportunities, and with the product development team to provide feedback on product features and functionality. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be critical to your success in this role. Additionally, experience with enterprise software sales, cloud computing, DevOps tools and methodologies, and Agile development methodologies will be beneficial.
