A leading construction firm specializing in mixed-income, affordable, supportive, and institutional housing is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Preconstruction Efforts: Oversee all aspects of the preconstruction phase, including budgeting, scheduling, and organizing project teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Engage with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to facilitate seamless communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop Accurate Estimates: Prepare detailed conceptual, schematic, design development, and Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) estimates to support project planning and decision-making.
Conduct Constructability Reviews: Assess project designs for feasibility, identifying potential challenges and proposing solutions to enhance project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Value Engineering: Lead efforts to identify and implement value engineering opportunities, ensuring optimal balance between cost, quality, and functionality.
Manage Preconstruction Documentation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of all preconstruction materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client expectations.
