As a Preconstruction Manager, you'll be responsible for creating cost estimates and budgets for projects at various stages. You'll also conduct value engineering exercises during preconstruction and manage change orders and budgets for ongoing projects. This role is based full-time at our Brooklyn, NY headquarters.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensure timely collection of subcontractor bids and production of estimates and budgets.
- Prepare conceptual budgets and take-offs.
- Conduct drawing reviews and logistics planning.
- Develop early buyout leveling sheets.
- Perform value engineering exercises and analyses.
- Manage subcontractor prequalification summaries and proprietary pricing databases.
- Maintain project comparisons and bid lists.
- Conduct regular site visits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field desired
- 5 Years minimum in construction management or a related field preferred but not required
- Thorough understanding of common building systems and materials.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehending various types of drawings, or a strong technical background indicating this proficiency is forthcoming.
- Familiarity with estimating concepts.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Proficiency with Revit and BIM platforms.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Project, P6, or similar software.
- Strong quantity take-off skills.
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to prioritize work assignments.

- $110,000 - $170,000 Base Salary - the salary range provided reflects a base salary range only and not total compensation. The offered salary will be based on an individual's qualifications and prior work experience
