Position Overview
Come work for an award winning builder in the Cincy metro! The Pre-Construction Manager will oversee the pre-construction phase of commercial and multifamily ground up projects, ensuring that all aspects of the planning, budgeting, and design are efficiently managed. This role requires a strong focus on cost estimation, risk management, and collaboration with various stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the pre-construction process for assigned projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates and budgets based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Conduct site analysis to assess project feasibility and identify potential challenges.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Create and manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all pre-construction activities.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with project execution.
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and project stakeholders throughout the pre-construction phase.
  • Utilize Building Information Modeling (BIM) for improved project visualization and coordination.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the pre-construction team, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pre-construction management or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimation, budgeting, and risk management practices.
  • Proficiency in construction planning and scheduling software.
  • Experience with contract negotiation and stakeholder management.
  • Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in BIM software and tools.
