PreOp/PACU Manager

Description:
Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to the PreOp and PACU staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to high clinical standards.
Monitor patient care processes, assess outcomes, and implement continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Supervise and support nursing staff in PreOp and PACU, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and ongoing education/training.
Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and other team members to maintain efficient workflows and ensure exceptional patient care.
Oversee compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements, including policies related to infection control and patient safety.
Manage department resources effectively, including supplies, staffing levels, and budget adherence.
Qualifications:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state.
Graduate of accredited school of Nursing.
Minimum of 3-5 years of nursing experience in PreOp/PACU or perioperative care; prior management experience strongly preferred.
BLS and ACLS certification (PALS preferred).
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with a focus on team collaboration and patient satisfaction.
Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation requirements for ambulatory surgery centers.
