About You

We are looking for a President who will provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to drive the company's growth, profitability, and operational excellence. The President will be responsible for business strategy, financial performance, operational execution, and culture development. The person selected for this position will report to the COO and work closely with Jacob Mullins, current President of Mullins Mechanical who will continue to serve as CEO. The President ensures that the day-to-day operations of the company align with the overall long-term plan and strategic vision for the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute long-term business strategies that position Mullins Mechanical as a market leader.
  • Identify new market opportunities, service offerings, and geographic expansions to drive growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Align company objectives with Kelso Industries' broader vision, company values, and mission, ensuring synergy.
  • Oversee all operational functions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Drive financial performance, including revenue growth, cost management, and profitability.
  • Establish and maintain KPIs to measure success in safety, quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the executive and management teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Champion workplace safety, diversity, and professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain a strong organizational culture that prioritizes collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Help represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Drive business development efforts, fostering long-term relationships with key partners.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty through a commitment to quality and service excellence.


Qualifications
  • 20+ years of experience in mechanical contracting, industrial construction, or a related field, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in scaling and leading a construction business, driving revenue growth and operational efficiency.
  • Expertise in business strategy, financial management, operations, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
