The Pricing Analyst is responsible for ensuring seamless price execution across commercial business units. What we will ask you to do:
- Provides sales and sales management with strategic pricing analysis: profitability, ROI, elasticity, discount effectiveness, distributor margin strategy, strategic analysis, pricing calculators, trends, and reporting
- Acts as the subject matter expert in wholesale pricing strategy and associated VIP 2.0 Pricing Tool
- Awareness of market complexities, distributor contracts, and pricing programs
- Manages monthly processes, communications, price tool maintenance, reviews, strategy compliance, trainings, supporting documentation
- Support Sales team with strategic ideation to help achieve annual plan
- Financial Analysis: profitability, variance analysis, trends, ROI, R&O, trade spend analysis, mix analysis (price, vol, cost, mix), competitive analysis, and various complex models
- Supports business reviews and provides insights/recommendations
- Responsible for ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and projects
- Problem solves and continuous improvement of processes, reporting, and analysis
- Proficiency in presenting reports, insights, and strategic recommendations to a diverse range of stakeholders is crucial.
What you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting
- 5-years' experience in a pricing/sales/business/accounting/financial analysis role
- 2-years' experience using a multi-dimensional data tool
- Ability to deliver high-quality outputs that facilitate informed decision-making.
- Expertise in pricing, financial analysis, commercial strategy, and the wine industry
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, consulting, and relationship management
