About the role
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Pricing Manager to lead pricing optimization efforts across our 25+ restaurant brands. This role will leverage internal and external data to drive pricing decisions that maximize conversion, average basket size, and customer retention. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in pricing strategies, particularly in the food industry, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

About the role
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Pricing Manager to lead pricing optimization efforts across our 25+ restaurant brands. This role will leverage internal and external data to drive pricing decisions that maximize conversion, average basket size, and customer retention. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in pricing strategies, particularly in the food industry, and thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute pricing strategies for existing and new menu items based on market trends, competitor insights, internal performance data, and COGS.
- Optimize pricing to drive conversion, average basket size, and repeat rate while maintaining profitability.
- Set pricing at brick-and-mortar location levels, considering local market dynamics and customer willingness to pay.
- Own and maintain an external pricing index to track competitor pricing trends and market shifts, adapting strategies accordingly.
- Optimize delivery and service fees to balance customer affordability, profitability, and competitive positioning.
- Conduct A/B testing and price elasticity analysis to refine pricing models and maximize revenue.
- Monitor pricing KPIs and provide data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Growth, Product, Finance, and Operations to align pricing strategies with broader business objectives.
The experience you have
- 4-6+ years of experience in pricing strategy, preferably in the restaurant, grocery, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industries.
- Strong background in data analytics, financial modeling, and price elasticity analysis.
- Experience working with large datasets in Excel. Looker and SQL experience is a plus.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Strong understanding of consumer behavior, competitive dynamics, and local market pricing strategies.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels.
