Location: Southern Orange County, CA
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm.
Starting Salary Range:

• Primary Therapist I: $70,000-$74,000
• Primary Therapist II: $80,000-$84,000
• Primary Therapist III: $90,000-$94,000

What You'll Do

• Conduct clinical evaluations, biopsychosocial assessments, diagnoses, and interpretive summaries.
• Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans, offering case management, consultation, and referrals as needed.
• Facilitate therapeutic interventions, including individual psychotherapy, group therapy, crisis counseling, and family sessions.
• Assess client functioning in daily life, identifying areas for ongoing support and resources.
• Maintain accurate Electronic Health Records (EHR) to document treatment progress and meet insurance requirements.
• Collaborate with insurance teams by preparing pre-certification and concurrent review reports based on medical necessity.
• Provide emergency crisis support during work hours and after-hours as assigned.
• Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervisory conferences to ensure clinical excellence.
• Adhere to organizational policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements, including duty to warn and abuse reporting.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Master's degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited university.
• Credentials:
  
  • Minimum: Associate-level licensure (e.g., AMFT, ACSW, APCC) with active Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) registration.
  • Preferred: Fully licensed (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, LPCC).
• Experience: Proven skills in individual therapy (various modalities), group facilitation (process, psychoeducational, topical), family therapy, and working with addiction issues.
• Availability: Flexibility for occasional weekend on-call shifts and after-hours crisis support.
• Skills:
  
  • Strong verbal and written communication with proper grammar and syntax.
  • Professionalism, positivity, and the ability to build respectful relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with clinical and medical terminology related to mental health care and payer requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, G Suite, and standard office equipment.
• Background: Successful completion of ADP Selective Screening Services background check, LiveScan, and any additional state, federal, or company-required screenings.
