A 27J school is seeking a Principal who will direct and manage the instructional programs and educational process. This is a full time, or 1.0 FTE, position with benefits.

Qualifications:

• Master's Degree minimum; other advanced graduate work preferred.
• Colorado Principal License or Administrator License.
• At least three years of administrative experience as an elementary school principal or assistant principal required.
• At least three years' teaching experience at the elementary level required.
• Experience and knowledge of curriculum for elementary schools, with a knowledge of state standards required.

Required Qualifications:

A valid Colorado Department of Education Principal license.

The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.

The ability to facilite and coach a high-functioning team.

The ability to define roles and share responsibility to move the school vision forward.

The ability to seek out and engage the perspective of others.

The emotional intelligence to understand others' needs and provide support.

The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).

A belief in empowering all children as owners of their learning.
