QUALIFICATIONS
- Massachusetts DESE Principal/Assistant Principal License.
- Proven experience as a school administrator, preferably at the high school level.
- A strong background in instructional leadership, curriculum development, and student assessment.
- Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
- Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of school leadership.
- Experience managing school budgets, operations, and resources effectively.
- A passion for student success and a commitment to fostering a thriving school community.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Academic Excellence & Student Growth
- Develop and implement a clear vision for elevating academic performance across all grade levels.
- Set high standards for teaching and learning, ensuring that instruction is both rigorous and engaging.
- Support and retain top-tier educators, providing opportunities for professional growth to enhance teaching quality.
- Use data-driven decision-making to monitor student progress, inform instructional strategies, and drive continuous improvement.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with students, staff, families, and the broader North Andover community.
- Serve as a visible and accessible leader, fostering open communication and collaboration among all stakeholders.
- Create and nurture a school culture that values equity, inclusion, and respect for all members of the community.
- Advocate for necessary resources and funding to support academic and extracurricular programs that benefit students and staff.
School Operations & Safety
- Oversee daily school operations, including budget management, staffing, and facility needs.
- Ensure a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment where all students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
- Develop and enforce policies and procedures that prioritize student well-being and academic success.
- Lead crisis response and emergency preparedness efforts, maintaining a secure and proactive school environment.
SALARY RANGE
$155,000 - $160,000, commensurate with education and experience.
