The Schuylkill Valley School District seeks an innovative, visionary leader to become our high School Principal. Position is available December, 2024. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic instructional leader who possesses a sincere interest in working with students, staff, and the Schuylkill Valley community as we strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which each student is challenged to think critically, problem-solve, create, and communicate as we prepare them to be responsible and contributing members of society. Qualifications:
A proven record of leadership in curriculum, instruction, technology, and teacher supervision are essential for a candidate's success in this position. High school principal or assistant principal experience with high school classroom experience is preferred. PA administrative certification, demonstrated ability to successfully lead individuals and initiatives, leadership abilities in the area of student achievement, ability to work effectively, and cooperatively with others, and successful administrative experience are required.
