About the job:

We seek a highly skilled and motivatedPrincipal Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will lead thedesign, development, and implementation of data and AI solutions tailored tothe unique needs of our financial services clients. You will collaborate withcross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and intuitive Data andGen AI workflows that enhance our clients' operational capabilities and drivebusiness success. In this role, you will interact with Clients, BusinessAnalysts, and Engineers, performing the crucial task of analyzing and validatingbusiness requirements and translating them into detailed data and analyticssolutions.

About the Role:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and efficient data solutions using industry best practices and cutting-edge technologies.
• Provide technical leadership in data engineering and analytics, mentoring junior team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Architect data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure high data quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable data solutions.
• Troubleshoot data issues, implement data solutions, and successfully deliver data projects within established timelines and budgets.
• Be responsible for the overall technical delivery of data projects, acting as a technical point of contact and escalation point for data-related questions.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and advancements in the data and ai space to drive innovation and maintain competitive edge.

About You:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 8-10 years of experience in data engineering or analytics, with a strong background in delivering data projects in financial institutions or enterprise firms.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of current trends, business models, and emerging architectures in data engineering and analytics.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with extensive experience in Spark and big data technologies, strong experience with data integration, ETL processes, and data platform solutions.
• Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Knowledge of Palantir Foundry is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically about complex data challenges.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to demonstrate commercial acumen in driving business-technology decisions.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and all aspects of the data project lifecycle.
• Passionate about teaching and providing guidance to less experienced data engineers, and collaborating with other senior engineers to develop standards.

It's a plus if you have:

• Experience working with LLMs and LangChain
• Experience with client-facing integration, implementation engineering, or solution architecture roles in B2B software product companies.
• Experience leading projects across teams and regions.
• Knowledge of financial services and/or insurance industries.
• Front-end development experience, including TypeScript/JavaScript, and low-code tools.
