Role description:

We are looking for a Principal, Architect with experience in delivering complex projects from start to finish. This is a great opportunity for a passionate and creative mind to take on dynamic and challenging projects and be part of project leading the creative design initiatives on transit projects both locally and internationally.

Role accountabilities:
  • Lead and manage large, complex projects and project teams
  • Part of leading the process of creating and developing the fundamental design principles to guide a project from the earliest stages of its conception and continue to assist in its development and refinement through subsequent design and implementation phases
  • As a member of the senior design team, collaborate with other practice leaders and colleagues to enhance Arcadis Transit Architecture Studio's culture for design excellence
  • Assist with preparing Business Development (BD) proposals in bidding for new work

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum University Degree in Architecture
  • Minimum of 15 years experience
  • 10 years experience in transit station design will be considered an asset
  • Minimum 5 years experience in leading project teams and managing large, complex interdisciplinary projects
  • Experience with Transit or P3 public-facing projects preferred
  • Registered Architect preferred
  • MUST INCLUDE: portfolio in PDF or Weblink along with a Cover Letter is expected with your application
  • Experience on large, multidisciplinary teams will be considered and asset

The salary range for this position is $114,000-$212,000. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
