Link Logistics is seeking an experienced Principal Business Analyst to support product management functions for our Accounting, Treasury and People & Culture teams. This role involves working on product development, system implementation, and platform operations projects. The business analyst will serve as the primary liaison between the Accounting, Treasury, People & Culture and Technology teams. Key responsibilities include defining new product features, configuring and customizing SaaS platforms, and specifying multi-system integration requirements. Additionally, the business analyst will contribute to the product management team by providing input and ideas for both short- and long-term product roadmaps.

$135,000 - $150,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.

WHO YOU ARE:
- Knowledgeable & Analytical. Your background includes a combination of Accounting/Finance/Treasury and Technology and you are comfortable with financial concepts, specifically the routines related to a full cycle monthly close in the real estate industry. You're skilled at gathering requirements, data collection & analysis, problem solving, process documentation, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Technology Skills. You've got a solid proficiency in writing SQL queries. You're also comfortable working with relational database concepts and have a knack for quickly mastering new software. You're familiar with how data can flow between systems via integrations/APIs.
- Business Liaison. You're comfortable collaborating with business partners and third-party vendors to gather needs, review viable solutions, test new functionality, and track post-implementation results.
- Strong Communicator. You proactively and consistently communicate to keep your stakeholders apprised of status and you demonstrate your ability to interact with all levels both within and outside the organization. By delivering clear communication, you help to ensure that projects stay on time, deliverables meet budget, and key stakeholders are aware of project statuses.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work closely with teammates and business partners to lead conversations to analyze and document business requirements for projects and software customizations or configurations. You'll then translate those business requirements into technical requirements for implementation.
- Deliver proactive communication on status, timing, and deliverables to your team and business partners.
- Implement new technology and evaluate upgrades. You'll present new features to business partners, test new functionality, and assist with the creation of training documentation.
- Manage an application including documenting the backlog requests, reviewing priorities with business partners, gathering requirements and creating test cases for backlog.
- Document data relationships and write basic SQL statements. You'll analyze and compare datasets and look for trends, issues, or areas for improvement.
- Implement and manage standard testing procedures for system changes. Create, review and execute test plans and validate that it meets the business and technical requirements. Responsible for proper tracking of test results.
- Provide assistance to Tech Support to review issues reported from users. Compare data from multiple sources to reconcile discrepancies, determine cause of errors and establish procedures to correct them.
- Develop and maintain testing, training and product support materials.
- Challenge the status quo. Be willing to look at processes with fresh eyes and questions on whether there's a better way.
- Coordinate customer input and feedback activities, including steering committees, user groups, and ongoing communication.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Computer Science with previous business analysis and/or project management experience is preferred.
- 7-10 years relevant Accounting/Finance/Treasury/Human Capital Management, business analysis and/or consulting work in related fields is highly preferred.
- Key competencies: requirements gathering, data analysis, conceptual thinking, problem solving, customer focus, managing work efficiently, relationship management, strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in managing simultaneous complex tasks from inception to successful completion
- Familiarity with Yardi, real estate technology, human capital management technology, business intelligence platforms, data warehouse technology, enterprise integration architecture, and analytical reporting tools and concepts
