POSITION DESCRIPTION
Provide Electrical Designer staff augmentation support to SRNS. Primary duties include design development, and generation of design output documents in the following areas: Equipment Layout, Grounding, Raceway Layout, Lighting Systems, and Schematics, Connection and Wiring Diagrams.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree in a technical discipline and at least 12 - 14 years of work experience or 14 - 18 years of practical work experience.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
LOCATION
Position will be on-site in Aiken, SC.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Work history shall include at least 10 years experience as an Electrical Designer in the nuclear industry.
- Working knowledge of National Codes and Standards for electrical design such as IEC, NEC, NFPA, NEMA, IEEE, and OSHA is required.
- Experience with both PDS modeling and 2D MicroStation Computer Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) is required..
- Candidate must be able to perform field walk-downs to document as-installed conditions.
- Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must have working knowledge of Federal (including DOE) and State code applicable to engineering design.
- Previous SRNS design experience is preferred.
- Possessed an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two years.
