Dumont Public Schools is seeking an innovative and dedicated Principal to lead Dumont High School, a thriving academic community committed to excellence, equity, and student success. Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Principal Certificate (or eligibility)
• Proven high school teaching experience
• Demonstrated administrative experience in a secondary school setting preferred
• Strong background in curriculum development and instructional leadership
• Proficiency in integrating educational technology to enhance learning and operations
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills
• Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and academically rigorous environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data-driven instruction and school improvement planning
• A record of building positive school culture and promoting student engagement
• Knowledge of New Jersey Student Learning Standards and assessment practices

Responsibilities Include:

• Leading the day-to-day operations of Dumont High School
• Supporting and evaluating staff to drive continuous professional growth
• Championing innovative programs that prepare students for college, careers, and citizenship
• Collaborating with district leadership, families, and the community
