In this role, you will be a key technical leader on a cross functional team developing innovative and high-quality products that maintain and expand our market position as the world leader in automated lighting controls. Responsibilities
- Apply your analog and power electronics expertise to lead electrical design and architecture of new hardware for a wide range of lighting control and system products
- Collaborate with embedded software, RF, and mechanical teams to develop innovative, high-quality products
- Utilize your leadership capabilities to mentor and coach other engineers in solving technical challenges
- Technology:
- Develop and bring new technologies to Lutron to drive innovation in product performance and quality
- Continually improve Lutron's technological capabilities and knowledge throughout the company
- Bring new technologies to Lutron to drive innovation in product performance and quality
- Quality: Ensure high standards of quality, even under pressure. Show the passion for quality to set a high bar for improving quality, robustness, and reliability in a broad and systemic fashion.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of industry experience in analog circuits and power electronics design and development
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering
- Minimum, cumulative GPA of 3.00 for all degrees earned
- Proven understanding of analog circuits, physics fundamentals, and power electronics.
- Embedded programming experience is a plus
- Hands-on attitude and proven work ethic
