The Board seeks an experienced administrator with demonstrated success at the elementary school level to serve as an Principal at Goshen Elementary School in Goshen, Alabama. Goshen Elementary School is a rural school with an enrollment of approximately 400 students and a faculty and staff of approximately 45. Goshen, Alabama is located in Southeast Alabama approximately 45 miles southeast of Montgomery, Alabama.

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in School Administration or related field. Education Specialist or Doctorate preferred.

Alabama Class A Certificate or above in School Administration.

Three years of successful administrative experience at the elementary level preferred.

Knowledge/skills in: oral and written communication, collaboration, assessment/measure/evaluation, organization, planning, law & policy, problem solving, innovation, technology utilization & management, school operations/management, professional responsibilities, leadership of human resources, public relations and building community support.

SALARY: Salary will be according to the appropriate step and rank on the approved administrative salary schedule.
