Job Description:

NDi is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Mobility Engineer to manage and support the mobility systems and infrastructure within the DOJ organization. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless operation, efficient administration, and continuous improvement of mobility solutions, including mobile device management (MDM) and other related technologies. The candidate will analyze the Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution to manage mobile devices, including iPhones, iPads, and other tablet devices. This role is critical to enabling a productive and secure mobile workforce.

Requirements:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
  • This role is onsite (5days onsite / week) in Washington DC.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Certified: Mobility Administrator Associate, or equivalent is a plus.
  • A minimum of 8 years of mobility engineering experience, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience with EMM/MDM platforms (i.e. Microsoft InTune, Workspace1, AirWatch, MobileIron or Jamf)
  • A strong understanding of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android, Windows)
  • Familiarity with network protocols, VPNs, and mobile security best practices.
  • Possess the ability to update Mobility Knowledge Articles within the ServiceNow ITSM tool
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Configure, deploy, and maintain enterprise mobility platforms, including the DOJ MDM solution
  • Manage the lifecycle of mobile devices, including procurement, enrollment, configuration, and decommissioning.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot mobile device performance and connectivity issues.
  • Provides mobility engineering support in support of the technical vision and strategy planning for mobility engineering projects
  • Implement and enforce security policies for mobile devices and applications to protect sensitive DOJ data.
  • Ensure mobile device compliance with organizational policies, industry regulations, and data privacy standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of mobility systems and processes to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Manage services on all the iOS devices and hotspots to ensure sure all devices have active lines as needed
  • Provides technical direction for telecommunications activities including planning, designing, installing, and maintaining large telecommunications networks.
  • Manage application deployment on ATR customers mobile devices
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align mobility solutions with organizational goals
  • Evaluates existing communications systems to identify deficiencies and network performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate mobility systems with other enterprise technologies.
  • Prepares studies and gives presentations on mobile communications concepts.
  • Provides technical guidance to other personnel concerning data communications requirements.
  • Prepares or participates in preparing functional specifications for acquiring commercially available data communications networks
