We are seeking a seasoned product leader to build a best-in-class matching experience between consumers and service professionals. This role will work across multiple groups within Yelp to deliver end-to-end product experiences on both the consumer and service professional sides of our marketplace. You will work closely with executive leadership to define company-level strategy, and will dive into the details to ensure coordinated roadmap execution across multiple product teams.

What you'll do:
- Own and curate the company-wide services taxonomy that powers Yelp's matching systems and AI experiences that connect consumers with great service providers.
- Act as single point of contact for the executive leadership group on local service matching across multiple product teams. You will build communication channels and alignment mechanisms at the executive level that scale to individual teams across Yelp.
- Dive into the details to deeply understand pain points and opportunities in each part of the Yelp services ecosystem, across multiple user-facing surfaces and backend systems.
- Work closely with product, engineering, design, marketing, analytics, and go-to-market teams across Yelp to deliver complex initiatives and delightful user experiences.
What it takes to succeed:
- 8+ years of experience in senior product roles. Marketplace experience a plus.
- Strong executive communication skills. This role will involve directly communicating with C-Suite leadership. You can get into the weeds to understand complex details, then distill that information for executive audiences and help them make informed decisions.
- Comfort with both product strategy and operational execution. Program management or product operations experience is a plus.
- Technical aptitude. In addition to building user-facing experiences, you will work closely with engineering teams to understand technical architecture and articulate how complex systems work together.
- Analytical expertise. The ability to define success metrics, guardrail metrics, and make informed recommendations on which tradeoffs to accept to deliver maximum impact.
- Competitor aware, customer focused - not the other way around. We are innovating for our users and customers, not chasing competitor taillights.
What you'll get:
- Compensation range is $207,000-326,000 annually. Depending on your role and level, you may also be offered a bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits.
- This opportunity has the option to be fully remote in all locations across Canada.
