Principal Product Manager

O.C. Tanner is looking for a Principal Product Manager (based on experience) to own and drive SAP platform services capabilities for our enterprise Culture Cloud platform. The Culture Cloud is a unified suite of employee recognition applications and services that help employees thrive at work by connecting them to purpose, accomplishment, and each other.

This experienced product professional will play a pivotal role in validating needs and conducting discovery & delivery activities with Product, Design and Engineering team members, for enterprise-grade SAP platform service solutions that delight our customers (internal & external), as well as ensure business objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive product strategy, discovery, delivery and adoption SAP Platform Services (working closely with Product, UX, Architecture, & Engineering counterparts from idea through adoption)
• Understand recognition & work culture market trends and customer needs by continuously gathering and assessing inputs from end users, customers, prospects, sales reps, customer service, culture researchers, finance, supply chain and other stakeholders
• Set target outcomes with your team & effectively use data to measure progress (e.g. reduction in material setup time, vendor setup, etc.) for enhancements and new offerings.
• Partner with Supply chain and Finance on material management and pricing to ensure the best catalog experience in the industry
• Create clear product requirements and near-term delivery forecasts; Drive product lifecycle planning (concept through end-of-life).
• Act as product evangelist & SME for your product space both internally and externally
• Utilize quantitative and qualitative data to drive decisions and deliver in ways that mitigate the common risks of creating technology solutions (i.e. Value, Usability, Technical Feasibility, Business Viability).
• Provide support and input for technical transitions from legacy platforms to new architecture and technology (i.e. move to S/4 Hana)

Key Qualifications

• 6+ years of software or SAP Product Management experience with specific focus of managing complex enterprise software services and configuration
• Strong leadership qualities and ability to work with/influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders (Marketing, Sales, UX, Architecture, SAP Engineering, QA, SAP Analysts, Customer Success, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance and Support)
• Working knowledge of program/product management tools (i.e. Jira); Scrum Master Certification a plus
• Financial analytical skills, supply chain experience, and B2B client invoicing a plus
• Deep knowledge of design principles & experience applying them to solve for complex business applications
• Agility and bias toward action with ruthless prioritization and accountability for results
• Excellent organizational, prioritization, & communication skills with high attention to detail (sweat small stuff)
• Domain experience in SAP, ECC: finance, sales and distribution, material management, and manufacturing: SAP S/4 Hana applications a plus
• Four-year degree a plus; Technical or Financial degree a plus; MBA or other relevant master's degree a plus.
