Purpose of the Position:
The Principal Research Engineer VI (DOD Uncrewed Integration Lead) will be responsible for integration responsibilities of UAS research across the DOD infrastructure.

Duties / Responsibilities
Project lead of a team for a UAS development program
Conduct CONOPS development for exercises supporting a major program
Analyze and interpret customer interoperability needs and center project alignment
Execute strategic, operational, and technical agendas to assure business development and internal research completion
Respond in writing or orally with evaluations of customer and center risks and issues

Minimum Requirements:
Ph.D. or an equivalent combination of education and years of experience
9 - 9.5 years of full-time verifiable work experience.
Ability to project lead teams in accomplishment of Aviation and Aerospace requirements
Intelligence experience with Special Forces, ASALT, TRADOC and Futures Command
Experience working in and with the CFTs and Capabilities Development Directorates
UAS and UAS System wide integration including conduct of exercises
Joint Forces experiences across the US Army, Navy and Air Force
Future UAS needs and experience in the US Army's Aviation modernization
Bachelor's degree in a Scientific Field

$179,221 - $192,559
