We are looking for a passionate Principal Software Engineer to technically lead & contribute to design, build, test, deploy and operate features in production. This person will collaborate with a multi-functional group to deliver next generation innovations and experiences. Partner with product and engineering teams to invent and deliver on the future for Microsoft Copilot and other generative AI products.

Microsoft Teams is built using cutting edge technology leveraging best from Microsoft Research, open source and Azure cloud. Using short developmentcycles,we ship incremental updates to our customers, collect feedback and metrics and through that iteratively improve the product.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver best in class solutions to our customers.
- Work closely with Program Managers and Designers to create engineering plansincluding timeframes, milestones and quality, reliability and performancegoals.
- Collaborate across broader team to identify dependencies, bottlenecks and opportunities for re-useor efficiency improvements.
- Own scenarios end-to-end and maintain high level of quality, reliability and performance.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- 4+ years ofdemonstrableexperience inleading engineering teams.
- 3+ years experience withcommercialproduct development with focuson user experiences.
- 3+ years experience in developing with TypeScript, React, Angular or any modern Web Stack and REST APIs.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- OR equivalent experience.
- Experience with software development lifecycleand agile methodologies.
