What you'll do...

This role involves collaboration with multiple stakeholders to implement business-critical capabilities that directly impact millions of customers worldwide. It also includes building and contributing to platforms in the last-mile delivery domain. This position demands the use of technical expertise to develop effective software solutions, influencing customer experience on a global scale. About Team:
Focusing on customer, associate and business needs, this team works with Walmart International, which includes more than 5,200 retail units, operating in 23 countries such as Canada, Central America, Chile, China, India, Mexico and South Africa to name a few.

What you'll do:
  • Collaborate with product managers to ensure that the end-to-end tech solutions involving several teams are designed effectively.
  • Create a platform mindset and have a clear vision to develop as a platform to build once and leverage.
  • Collaborate with product managers to ensure that the end-to-end tech solutions involving several teams are designed effectively.
  • Work closely with architects from other groups to develop high-level designs and execution approach for projects.
  • Contribute to Operational Excellence and Engineering Excellence initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
  • Create tools and systems to enhance team productivity and efficiency.


What you'll bring:
  • Over 12 years of experience in developing REST web services using Spring Boot and JAVA.
  • 3+ years of designing end to end solutions across several teams.
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging using Kafka and NoSQL technologies.
  • Proven experience in building multi-tenant software platforms.
  • Experience in deploying to cloud services like Azure or GCP.
  • A deep interest and passion for technology.
  • The ability to learn quickly and view learning as a continuous experience is essential in this role.
  • Eagerness to share knowledge and implement best practices within the team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivation to work in a fast-paced, results-driven agile environment with varied responsibilities is essential.

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
