This role is a key member of the Strategy, Process, and Analytics team within the Tech Ops division, responsible for creating comprehensive workforce plans, models, and bid structures. These efforts ensure that various Tech Ops groups are equipped with the necessary headcount to meet and exceed business performance goals.

Leverages advanced analytics to deliver optimal staffing levels for the airline, balancing operational reliability and enterprise cost
Leads development and refinement of staffing models for various business groups in close partnership with subject matter experts
Performs quantitative analysis of historical data and creates strategies that solve complex problems to develop a robust workforce plan
Builds a deep understanding of our leaders by actively engaging with their operations and expertly translating their needs into actionable solutions using workforce tools and technology
Identifies, analyzes, and recommends solutions to manpower planning issues and develop strategies to optimize staffing
Derives meaningful and actionable insights from data to help improve the operation
Works collaboratively with operational teams within the business group to understand their staffing needs and constraints
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Master's degree in Aviation, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or related field
5 years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
Experience with SQL, Java, R, or Python in addition to advanced Excel modeling is a plus
Strong analytical background involving data input, manipulation, and presentation
Working knowledge of probability, statistics, and forecasting techniques a plus
Understanding and familiarity with unions and contracts
Experience in a Tech Ops-related environment
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
Ability to navigate and influence across departments and levels of the organization
Ability to make independent judgments and decisions while taking ownership of job responsibilities
Ability to work as a team player in a high-stress environment
Ability to decipher JCBA requirements and its application to existing members
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written with all levels in the organization
Self-motivated and logical with aggressive approach to identifying and solving problems
Highly proficient in use of Microsoft Office, including Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
