The CO+I Critical Environment Systems Intelligence (CESI) team is responsible for designing and delivering solutions to support global datacenter operations and to improve availability. CESI is helping to drive CO+I's transition to a customer centric, data driven, live service culture.

We are looking for a customer obsessed, data driven, Principal Technical Program Manager with effective collaboration and communication skills that has a track record of delivering impact through technology. This role will drive the strategy for a unified critical environments telemetry interface that can aggregate data from multiple sources into a "single pane glass ".

As a Principal Technical Program Manager you will be responsible for developing and executing on the product vision partnering closely with engineering to build the long term roadmap. You will lead a cross-functional team across CO+I and Azure to build the needed capabilities. This is a unique, high impact opportunity to work at the intersection of business, technology, and operations where there is significant growth planned over the next few years.

This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.

Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates will need to relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.

This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%.

Responsibilities:

  • Defines and communicates the product strategy including the overarching scope, prioritized requirements, business goals, and outcomes to be delivered.
  • Analyzes multiple software solutions and determines the best option for delivering on the objective key results (OKRs) set by the business.
  • Uses expertise to identify and resolve platform, system, deployment, and environmental issues prior to production to ensure on-time release and successful user adoption.
  • Monitors and evaluates results to ensure features deliver on the outcomes the business needs; reports clearly, concisely, and consistently with stakeholders on progress and as well as problems and solutions all the way up to the executive level.
  • Implements and manages risk when necessary to ensure projects stay on track to meet plan.
  • Develops the software user personas and use cases for the product to continuously iterate on improvements as the business needs change.
  • Provides leadership within the business by developing innovative methods for measuring the customer experience, and uses this data to identify and drive improvements.
  • Work closely with release management to develop the customer feedback loop, ensure consistency in testing the user experience, and to drive the successful adoption of new features.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Process Engineering
    • OR equivalent experience working in an environment that monitors, operates, or maintains industrial control systems in mission-critical, 24x7x365, or other high-availability, infrastructure-intensive facilities.
  • 5+ years of experience in working with software development teams to build and release products.
  • 3+ years of experience working in cloud or data center infrastructure or equivalent critical environments.
  • 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
  • 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
  • Project or program management certification(s) (PMP, PMI, CAPM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS), and/or Supervisory and Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and/or Building Automation Systems (BAS) is preferrable.
Business Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
