The Principal Wealth Advisor serves as a key relationship manager, ensuring high client retention by meeting all service needs and developing personalized wealth planning strategies. This role involves onboarding new clients through various programs and serving as a secondary advisor when needed. The Principal Wealth Advisor leads client meetings, collaborates across departments to meet client needs, mentors colleagues, and ensures a superior client experience. Your focus will be on growing assets under management while ensuring exceptional client outcomes and satisfaction.

The Principal Wealth Advisor leads client meetings, collaborates across departments to meet client needs, mentors colleagues, and ensures a superior client experience. Your focus will be on growing assets under management while ensuring exceptional client outcomes and satisfaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build strong, long-term client relationships. You will work with clients to analyze their current financial health, help set short/long-term financial goals, and design a realistic plan of action including investment policy and portfolio construction. You will proactively provide the following:
- Estate planning solutions and document summaries while working with client's estate attorney
- Income tax planning advice while working with the client's tax preparer
- Coordination of client meetings including materials, agenda, and post-meeting action item follow-up
- Answers to clients' questions with superior service front of mind, always
- Financial planning using e-Money
- Provide comprehensive financial advice: You will determine what level of financial plan and support is needed for each client and adjust their level of service accordingly.
- Communicate: You must be a superior, proactive communicator who can adjust your message and style to the needs of our clients. You must have a disciplined approach to client follow-up.
- Brand Ambassador: Enthusiastically advocate the values, ethics, and unique approach our company takes to personal financial planning.
- Data Management: You must maintain all data in Salesforce and follow designated workflows and compliance procedures.
Required Credentials:
- Bachelor's degree
- Series 65
- Completion of CFP or CFA designation- CPA, JD, CHFC, or another approved advanced designation/degree
- 7-10+ years of industry experience
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in all Wealth Planner functions, plus:
- Proven leader, decision-maker, and subject matter expert.
- Independently sources new client revenue and expands upon existing client relationships.
- Independently develops and communicates wealth planning strategies and manages client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills with both external clients and internal collaboration.
- Working knowledge of e-Money, Salesforce, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook a strong plus.
- Ability to listen and empathize with clients, spot, and analyze issues, and simplify/explain financial concepts to provide solutions.
- Strong attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving skills, and ability to organize and prioritize work in order to meet deadlines in a proactive manner with little supervision required.
- Must accept and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Tenacious about doing what is right for the client - always.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
