Methacton School District, among the highest performing public school districts in Pennsylvania, located in Montgomery County (a suburb of Philadelphia), is seeking a Principal to lead the Arcola Intermediate School. The Arcola Intermediate School has an enrollment of approx. 665 students in grades 7 and 8 with an educational philosophy and practice centered on teaming to support student academic progress and developmental growth.
Requirements: PA Secondary/K12 Principal Certification and five (5) years of administrative experience with strong middle level administrative experience. Middle level teaching experience preferred. Excellent communication skills and strong knowledge of middle level curriculum and instructional practices. Candidates should be able to demonstrate leadership, problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to lead and direct a school team.
Salary range: $142,000 to $161,000, commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits package.
