Qualifications:
  • Current Alabama Teacher's Certification, Master's Degree or higher, with an endorsement in educational administration K-12
  • Demonstrated successful administrative or supervisory experience preferred
  • Demonstrated positive communication skills both verbal and written

Essential Duties :
  • Serve as the instructional and administrative leader of the school
  • Analyze different data sources in making data-driven decisions for instruction
  • Work with staff, students, and the community to ensure a high-quality educational program
  • Formulate and accomplish the school's mission
  • Provide leadership for an environment of high expectations for staff and students
  • Motivate and lead professional learning communities that focus on teacher development
  • Support the use of technology to motivate and prepare students for the 21st century
  • Provide a safe, orderly environment that facilitates learning
  • Support school-related activities that enhance teacher, student, parent, and community relations
  • Establish a positive relationship with students, parents, co-workers, volunteers, and other visitors
