Summary: This position is responsible for generating new deposit, loan sales volume, First Foundation Advisors (FFA) investment management revenue through new and existing individual relationships in a dynamic fast- paced, goal-oriented sales environment. Role will focus on serving the ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) client market. May serve as the client's relationship manager or as a specialist/member of a broader relationship management team. Responsible for attaining established individual sales and referral goals through active sales efforts as specified in the business plan. A significant percentage of the position's compensation is derived from sales incentives.
Salary Range: The salary range budgeted for this position is $116,100/yr to $150,000/yr and represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The compensation offered to a candidate may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
The Company also offers various benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(K) match. Other rewards may include annual performance-based bonuses and wellness days.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Employee is responsible for adherence to all compliance programs and the completion of all required and assigned training by established due dates
- Employee is responsible for understanding their duties and responsibilities as it relates to the Bank Secrecy Act, ("BSA"), Anti-Money Laundering Act ("AML") and Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations ("OFAC"). This includes understanding any responsibilities outlined under the Bank's BSA/ OFAC Program, participating in any required training and promptly complying with all reporting requirements
- Understand and comply with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to position
- Generate profitable individual sales volume derived from the Bank and FFA's client base, new clients and other referral sources
- Ensure clients meet the requirements of inclusion in First Foundation's Private Bank program
- Identify, acquire, and grow new personal and business deposit balances and loans, and expand existing relationship opportunities
- Generate new client opportunities by presenting and providing our full-balance sheet of services and solutions, including deposit, credit, wealth management, trust and planning.
- Facilitate a seamless client experience across First Foundation Bank and First Foundation Advisors
- Focus on UHNW individuals who have larger deposits, and more sophisticated wealth management needs
- Coach and lead other Relationship Bankers, retail branch staff and affiliates on generating new client acquisition opportunities
- Assess, profile, and analyze structures and negotiate terms and prices for Deposit and Credit requests
- Present for credit approval loans that meet the Bank's financial and risk guidelines based on risk and value of the relationship to the Bank
- Propose to all clients customized packages of financial products and services to enhance our product and services penetration across clients' full balance sheet
- Manage each client's personal and/or business requests efficiently from origination through booking
- Work in a proactive manner with all First Foundation Affiliates, Bank Affiliates and Bank staff to identify referrals to affiliates of First Foundation to accomplish its goal of meeting clients' needs with multiple products and services from all Affiliates
- Partner closely with First Foundation Advisors Relationship Managers in the new client acquisition process and ongoing client relationship management
- Plan long-term and short-term business objectives, including preparing and updating business plans
- Assist as coach to bankers; assist the team with planning long term & short-term business objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; higher degree preferred; or combination of education and experience
- Minimum of 7 to 10 years of financial services sales experience to individuals and businesses with a proven track record of exceeding sales expectations
- Experience in a Private Banking environment preferred
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent certification preferred
Skills:
- Must be able to solicit change/conversion of significant prospective banking relationships
- Must be able to use centers of influence where needed particularly in multiple decision maker situations
- Must possess critical strategic and conceptual sales skills
- Must have exceptional analytical and business development skills
- Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of interpretation of personal financial statements with an emphasis on the UHNW individual
- Working knowledge of basic credit underwriting principles
- Knowledge of banking products/services required
- Knowledge of wealth management products and services
- Excellent interpersonal relationship, presentation, and communication skills
- Proficient in Windows based software
