Private Equity Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Private Equity Associate to join a highly regarded law firm's Private Equity practice in Boston. This opportunity is ideal for associates with 4-6 years of experience in private equity and leveraged buyout transactions who are looking to advance their career with a leading practice.
Key Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on private equity and leveraged buyout transactions.
• Draft and negotiate key transaction documents, including purchase agreements, financing agreements, and shareholder arrangements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to structure and execute complex private equity deals.
• Manage client relationships and ensure seamless deal execution from inception to closing.

Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school with outstanding academic credentials.
• Admission to the Massachusetts State Bar or eligibility to waive in.
• 4-6 years of experience at a law firm with a focus on private equity transactions.
• Strong deal sheet reflecting experience in leveraged buyouts and related M&A matters.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Compensation:
