Key Responsibilities

• Train team members on the methodologies of both the DMAIC and Kaizen processes.
• Work with team members to identify LSS opportunities within Wisconsin operations.
• Lead project teams through the DMAIC/Kaizen processes.
• Ensures all staff is following Safety Practices daily
• Build and drive a Lean Six Sigma culture within all Wisconsin operations
• Assist the production line design, integration, installation, and start-up of capital projects.
• Work with key stakeholders to identify and implement continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma initiative across the operational areas.
• Responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost and improve OEE.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must demonstrate the ability to complete tasks as assigned and provide positive inputs to set priorities and the ability to make sound decisions while working on tasks in a timely manner.
• Experience with pursuing new technologies to enhance or replace existing processes.
• Ability to respond quickly to requests and must be able to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as production/workflow changes.
• Must be able to motivate/lead others, deal with ambiguity, have a results-driven mind-set, good decision-making skills, and excellent communication skills.
• Assist with the implementation of new or improve processes, selection of equipment to purchase and recommendation of optimal machine tooling.
• Investigate and troubleshoot any issues with processes or equipment.
• Develops, evaluates, and improves manufacturing methods.
• Collect and analyze data for statistical process control and provide regular project progress and status report.
• Work with other internal and external engineer(s) to ensure all product, process and system requirements are in place from initial product conception to the finished result.

Position Requirements:

• 4-year degree in any engineering field preferably process engineering
• A minimum of 4 years of engineering experience
• Green belt certification with a minimum of 4 years' experience leading Lean Six Sigma Projects
