The US base salary range for this full-time position is $89,600 - $152,300 annually.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure, and relevant education or training. Duties/Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:
- Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement in terms of efficiency, safety, and product quality. Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance production processes and reduce waste.
- Design Support: Collaborate with our customers and their design teams to provide input during product development to ensure design for manufacturability. Suggest modifications or improvements to designs that can lead to simplified manufacturing processes.
- Equipment Selection: Evaluate, select, and commission appropriate manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control procedures to monitor and maintain product quality during the manufacturing process.
- Cost Analysis: Monitor manufacturing costs and work on cost reduction initiatives without compromising product quality. Evaluate the feasibility of new processes or technologies in terms of cost-effectiveness and potential return on investment.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles. Identify areas where efficiency can be enhanced and lead initiatives to implement changes and optimize operations.
- Production Support: Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any manufacturing issues that may arise. Provide technical support and training to operators to ensure smooth and safe production processes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of manufacturing & special processes, procedures, and changes. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Job Skills:
- Design manufacturing processes for estimates
- Use CAD to demonstrate process requirements
- Use ERP and Microsoft Office software to document changes and capture Engineering work
- Standardize Work Instructions for training and scalability
- Troubleshoot problems and support production as needed
- Must be organized and accurate with documentation
Desired Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Mechanical/Industrial Preferred)
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for learning and a drive to succeed.
- 3D CAD experience is a plus
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
