Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to join our team, specializing in pressing and sintering powder metallurgy processes. This position requires an individual with experience in developing, optimizing, and maintaining powder metallurgy processes from initial raw material handling to final sintering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring production efficiency, product quality, and process improvements.

Essential Duties:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize pressing and sintering powder processing techniques.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to pressing and sintering processes.
  • Conduct data analysis on process performance and recommend improvements to increase yield and reduce production costs.
  • Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Document process parameters and ensure that manufacturing best practices are followed.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Materials/Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or related fields.
  • 3-5 years of industrial experience in powder production focused on pressing & sintering technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of powder compaction and sintering technologies, including tooling design.
  • Familiarity with process control methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, and Six Sigma.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
