As the Process Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for driving operational process improvements within our coating and converting manufacturing departments. You will focus on enhancing manufacturing efficiencies, optimizing machine performance, and delivering cost savings through the application of engineering and lean manufacturing principles.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to deliver >$500K in annual operational cost savings through scrap reduction, machine reliability improvements, and process efficiency enhancements.
- Work closely with site managers, supervisors, and production teams to implement sustainable process improvements and support manufacturing performance goals.
- Provide technical expertise to support new product development, ensuring manufacturing feasibility and addressing technical challenges
- Assist in the development and execution of the annual capital budget plan, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Support safety initiatives by identifying and addressing safety concerns while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
What It Takes:
- BS degree in Paper Science, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (preferred).
- 5+ years of process engineering experience (preferred, but not required).
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including cost/benefit analysis and long-term strategic planning.
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to drive resolution of complex issues independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in paper coating and converting operations (preferred, but not required).
- Willingness to support 2nd or 3rd shift production as needed based on business or project demands.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills with a detail-oriented and results-driven approach.
