Process Engineering Team Lead

Job Description

The Process Engineering Team Lead plays a crucial role in driving Cyient's continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring that the team remains aligned with Performance Plus goals. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage team operations, oversee technical execution, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities

Managerial Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of Statement of Work (SOW) tasks, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Train, mentor, and allocate workloads among Associates, optimizing productivity.
• Conduct annual performance appraisals and manage time-off requests.
• Prepare and review SOW quotes, ensuring quality checks are performed.
• Monitor and track budget, on-time delivery, turnbacks, and other quality metrics to meet organizational objectives.
• Approve overtime requests and daily timesheet submissions, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Identify, resolve, and/or escalate work-related and e3 issues as needed.
• Represent the team in internal and customer meetings, providing updates and insights.
• Interview and evaluate potential candidates for team expansion.

Technical Responsibilities:

• Execute Process Engineering tasks for Production and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) of military and commercial jet engines.
• Develop assembly, test, and shipping work instructions for engine components.
• Conduct Build Audits (Gate 1 & 3) for MRO engine builds to ensure compliance with standards.
• Perform time studies to analyze and optimize operational efficiency.
• Update engine manuals per quarterly revisions using Solumina.
• Generate Shop Visit Reports, documenting work performed on customer engines.
• Utilize SAP P10 functions for efficient process execution.

• Overtime may be required based on operational demands.
