The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing procurement data, identifying trends, and providing insights to improve our procurement processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of procurement practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compile and analyze procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain procurement reports and dashboards to track spend, rebate income, program compliance, procurement opportunities.
- Possess working knowledge of rebate structures and national level supplier relationships and agreements.
- Uncover new revenue streams stemming from strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs, provide data-driven recommendations, support overall business objectives.
- Establish supplier KPI's, drive supplier performance and compliance to contract terms.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
- Conduct deep dives into spend data, build strong rapport with operations.
- Support the negotiation and management of contracts with suppliers.
- Uncover and drive automation opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Manage and oversee the overhead purchase order process from initiation to completion.
- Analyze and review purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with various functions and OpCo's to understand their overhead purchasing needs and provide support.
- Develop strong understanding of OpCo purchasing systems and provide support, training, and process improvement ideas when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of all overhead purchase orders and related documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- CPSM or other ISM related certification a plus.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Skilled in converting data into charts, graphs, dashboards.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding environment individually and within a team.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
