Job description
Summary/Objective:
You are accountable for a portfolio of strategic OEM suppliers in North America; you are their unique supply chain point of contact. You are part of Safran USA Within Safran Aircraft Engines Supply Chain department, you will be responsible for ensuring the procurement of parts for the assembly line and the aftermarket (spares). Your objective is to manage supplier relationships and make sure suppliers deliver parts according to Safran needs.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
Your job consists of:
Define supply parameters in the item sheet and supply chain contracts of the ERP, in line with inventory objectives and the industrial strategy.
Analyze, approve and send every month the demand fluctuations through purchasing orders based on the master scheduling plan, and collaborate with the suppliers to process them.
Monitor the supplier's manufacturing progress and manage recovery plans, the flow of parts until receipt, resolution of administrative disputes (quality concessions, pre releases, quality/administrative blockage, invoices disputes etc.), and ensure follow-up with suppliers.
Daily follow up with the Supply Chain Pilot of the department for pacing items (workstoppages or shortages)
Monitor the suppliers' performance, and in case of unmet objectives, propose solutions and manage the action plans
Manage reverse logistics (retrofits, reworks or inspections)
Participate in meetings and cross-functional workshops as needed
Conduct supply chain audits at the suppliers

Successful past supplier relationship experiences
Technical skills in supply chain
Fluency in French is required to use the company's ERP, software, and procedures effectively
Required Experience:
Minimum: 3 years in supply-chain, purchasing or production in Aerospace Industry.
Preferred: 5+ years in supply-chain, purchasing or production in Aerospace Industry.
Travel specifictity
20 - 30% or as needed to support business travels within North and Central America to visit suppliers from your portfolio and other suppliers to support crisis
Training time will be required at SAE offices in France within the first 2 months
