What we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and manage our procurement operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and possess a strategic approach to sourcing and supplier management. While experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) is preferred, it is not a requirement.
What you'll do:
Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
MRP Management: Utilize MRP systems to forecast, plan, and manage inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels to meet production demands without overstocking.
Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure favorable outcomes for the company.
Cost Control: Continuously seek opportunities to reduce procurement costs through negotiations, alternative sourcing, and process improvements.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that procured materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Inventory Optimization: Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to optimize stock, reduce excess inventory, and minimize waste.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and other departments to understand material requirements and ensure seamless procurement processes.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze procurement data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and potential risks. Prepare regular reports on procurement performance.
Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions, market volatility, and supplier performance.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.

Role Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager, with a strong background in Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
- Preferred experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) or electronics manufacturing, but not required.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MRP systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
