General Purpose:
This executive position is responsible for sourcing materials, goods, and services for two North American locations, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining up-to-date, accessible agreements and documents. The role focuses on supplier evaluation, sourcing decisions, and improving quality, service, and profitability. Responsibilities include overseeing inventory levels and accuracy, minimizing obsolescence, and ensuring compliance.
The candidate must be able to travel between U.S. and Canadian facilities and have experience in materials management, factory stores, and team leadership.
Key Activities include but are not limited to:
Sourcing/Negotiations: Develop vendor metrics, conduct annual reviews, manage strategic sourcing, and handle contract negotiations. Vendor Management: Keep supplier documentation current, resolve vendor quality issues, ensure GMP compliance, and manage supply risks. Spare Parts Management: Standardize processes for dual-site support and maintain information flow for maintenance, inventory, and costing. Inventory Management: Develop optimal stocking levels, minimize obsolete inventory, track rebuild inventory, and ensure inventory accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:
- SCMP, CPP, CPPM, or CSCP certification
- 5+ years of procurement and inventory experience, with a focus on North American sourcing
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- ERP, Supply Chain, and Microsoft Office proficiency
