This role is based out of our corporate HQ located in downtown Chicago and will be a hybrid in-person/remote role.

Ferrara is growing fast and with it the Procurement organization. Procurement is undergoing some major transformation. Ferrara is seeking a new Procurement Service Center leader to help establish a new team within Procurement. Leader will help transition the business to using new Procurement Service Center processes.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Establish and manage KPIs for success of Procurement Service Center.
  • Manage team of purchasers, buyers, and analysts
  • Utilizing change management principles, help business transition to using new processes and policies for business to transition to using the newly created
  • Procurement Service who will receive purchase requirements from business functions, verify details, obtain approvals, and convert requisitions into POs for agreed purchasing categories
  • Responsible for the creation, amending, and closing of POs, ensuring compliance with policies and budget constraints
  • Maintain communication with suppliers from initial contact through order fulfillment, addressing queries, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to ensure accurate execution of POs and address any discrepancies or changes
  • Resolve vendor invoice discrepancies by liaising with suppliers and finance teams, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing
  • Support vendor invoice resolution and vendor returns
  • Management processes
  • Ensure timely payments to suppliers and support the goods receipt process by verifying items against purchase orders and resolving discrepancies
  • Supplier Quality

Experiences that will support your success

  • Bachelor's degree, required. Master's degree a plus
  • Preference for 10 years' experience in matrixed organization
    • Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience, including how to make a PO and managing a three-way match
    • Minimum 5 years SAP experience, exposure to Ariba Procurement system strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience managing a team
  • 5 years of experience presenting to Executives

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $128,850 to $180,390 annually.
