Product Design Manager, Business AI

We're seeking a Product Design Manager to help us shape these innovative Business AI products. In this role, you'll be working together with your counterparts in Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Data Analytics to define the strategy and vision that guide the team to build great products addressing real user needs. You must have proven mentoring and communication skills, the experience with shaping product strategy, and a desire to stay close to pixels.

Product Design Manager, Business AI Responsibilities

• Shape product direction and strategy while also managing the growth and success of a team of designers.
• Guide the team to develop best practices for ensuring a high bar of quality. Establish a collaborative design practice with healthy feedback practices.
• Set clear goals, manage project loads and allocate designers accordingly. Ensure deadlines are met and set team members up for overall success.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, Data Analytics, and other cross-functional teams to establish product vision, build consensus on priorities, and drive sound execution.
• Over time, recruit new members of the team and actively participate in the hiring process.
• Strategically assess new big bets, including vision and strategic planning. Navigate highly ambiguous or emergent problems.
• Translate strategic goals of the organization into design opportunities. Communicate with data to drive change.
• Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment. Roll up your sleeves and stay close to the detailed work.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 8+ years of experience in Product Design.
• 4+ years of management experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership.
• Team development and recruiting experience. Experience providing clear feedback and guidance to team members from high-level product strategy to detailed interaction and visual design.
• Experience working collaboratively with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, Data Analytics, and other cross-functional product teams.
• Proven track record of shaping design strategy and shipping quality products.
• Communicator who knows how to influence stakeholders throughout the design journey.
• Experience interpreting data and leveraging it to drive change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building and shipping new ("zero to one") products that succeeded.
• Generative AI background.
• Experience with a range of design tools (including Figma).

$196,000/year to $272,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
