Overview:
The Product Development Manager will support the vision, goal setting, and requirements, to deliver new and enhanced products to market for our sales force. This role will be a player on the team defining the future loan product set necessary to continue our production growth.
Responsibilities:
Support the development, launch, and continuous optimization of new and existing products.
Develop concepts, prototypes, and preliminary requirements for new products.
Manage alignment and prioritization of new features based on business needs and product Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Clearly define product objectives based on the needs of our customers and our business.
Perform market research, collect and analyze user feedback to support development of new products, features, and enhancements
Identify, present, and implement improvements to current products based on consumer activity and data collected through the industry research
Rapidly test and validate hypothesis with both qualitative and quantitative feedback
Coordinate with Marketing, Production Management, Operations, IT, Secondary Marketing, and other teams to ensure project scope and timing are delivered
Coordinate with Operations, Training, Legal, and Compliance to ensure alignment on with corporate strategy and industry best practices
Assist in identifying new vendors to support our strategic roadmap. Evaluate vendors and provide recommendations for Connects
Ensure delivery of documentation, training, and notifications for product releases
Be an expert in the market, competitive landscape, and other products in the space
Define problems and develop innovative solutions to optimize business process and user experience
Qualifications:
5+ years mortgage product knowledge and experience with Agency and non-Agency production
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent job experience
Working knowledge of Encompass
