Product Line Management IV (E4)

The Applied Global Services (AGS) DDP Service Business Unit (SBU) is seeking an ambitious candidate that possesses strong technical knowledge, preferably with Dielectric Deposition / Atomic Layer Deposition semiconductor equipment in the areas of hardware design, process engineering and optimization, customer fab operations, as well as business acumen. This person will work closely with DDP product field support, AGS operations, and AGS field service to ensure products have the documentation, spare part sourcing strategies, and maintenance capabilities required to be successful at customer sites. They will engage in early phases of the new product design cycle to ensure after-sale support planning is included from initial concept through final product release. They will also lead coordination between the AGS and DDP Business Unit field support teams to implement Customer Engineer (CE) training and certification programs, drive performance improvements on systems installed at customer sites worldwide, and quickly resolve customer issues at the lowest level. The candidate should have a passion for technical program management and possess strong communication skills; this is a strategic role and will suit someone who can drive growth in partnership with a cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Owns product change management (PCM) and control
    • Unreleased product approval and control
    • ECO (Engineering Change Order) approval
    • Implementation of PCN (Part Change Notification), with Global Product Support
    • Manages field service related activities, reviews approves and filters all system feedback activities that will have customer impact
  • Accuracy of customer shipped configurations and BOMs (Bill of Materials)
    • CaRM (Configuration accuracy Review Meeting) reviews
    • BOM (Bill of Materials) accuracy
    • NSR (Non-Standard Request) approval
  • Owns common modules roadmap and implementation post Phase 5 of ePLC.
  • Implementation of component roadmaps including part obsolescence, replacements, alternative vendors and cost reduction.
  • Facilitates Intercompany communication to align on product strategies, provide guidance on pricing, spare level contents, and restricted part orders. Facilitates alignment meeting for product roadmap and market proliferation.
  • Implementation of cost reduction roadmap.
  • Manage strategic vendor issues.
  • Manage all changes to the product after product release
    • whether driven by engineering, quality, safety, customer demands or supply obsolesce

U.S. Salary Range:
$147,000.00 - $202,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
