Product Line Manager III

Lantronix is seeking a Product Line Manager III to lead the product strategy, definition, delivery, and growth of our Near Edge Networking Infrastructure products. The ideal candidate a proven track record of product management growth and success in a similar domain with exposure to technologies applicable to networking switches, optics, gateway, modem, routers and/or device servers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate the company business strategy into a compelling product strategy for near edge networking infrastructure products, services, and solutions
• Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle - from cradle to grave
• Define, own, and execute the product roadmap, in close collaboration with internal cross functional stakeholders
• Work closely with team to develop product launch plans and drive content creation with Marketing for supporting collateral
• Engage customers, ecosystem partners, and industry experts to understand pain points, uncover market insights, and iterate on our messaging and positioning
• Drive customer success, strong product margins, and lead the sustained growth of key product metrics Represent Lantronix at global industry events, including conferences, trade shows, and partner engagements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong preference for at least 5 years of experience in product management, product marketing, business development or systems engineering in a similar domain
• BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience is required
• Strategic thinking and business case development will be an important part of this role. You should be comfortable with conducting market research, developing compelling use cases, conducting competitive and financial analyses, and developing independent convictions about future product directions
• Ability to comfortably present before diverse audiences, both large and small, internal and external, in technical and executive briefings
• Ability to travel as needed to support customers and product (15%-20%)
